A while ago I was bit worry about video players, I used many of them but once I download the VideoLAN I didn’t touch any other, VLC is one of my favorite video player and I assure that most of you love this awesome player too. But the players wasn’t available for the mobile but if you cost your mind back, not I while ago I also shared unofficial version of VLC player with a short description but we no need to use any unofficial version because our beloved media VLC media player is now available officially on the Google Play store for Android.
Yes it’s available for free for Android, now you’re able to use this open source cross-platform multimedia player that enables you to play almost every media format but one thing also do keep in mind that VLC Mobile Team released a beta version of VLC player yet but the player is enough to use, however it’s bit not very stable but developer will release a better version soon in near future, so feel free to try this version.
You can’t only play local audio and video files on VLC player but also stream networks like you use the PC version, it features media library for audio and video files, and have option to browse a complete folders directly. It support multi-track audio and subtitles, it also supports auto-rotation, aspect-ratio adjustments and gestures to control volume. The player will set a widget for audio control, audio headsets control, covert art and full audio media library.
Since this is beta version some features are incomplete like the main interface will be bit changed and you might face some issues on audio. It requires permissions such as hardware control for changing the audio volume, phone calls control to pause the music, and it requires SD card access for deletion of files. Do keep in mind that it requires Android devices with a CPU ARMv7 that will support NEON but developer will also add other devices in next version. You can download VLC for Android from below link:
